Our skin ages in every layer!
Our greatest wish at Perfect Skin Berlin is to support our clients in their natural beauty and to preserve it. To do this, we set out together on an interesting, exciting and beautiful beauty journey.
Every day, a look in the mirror shows us the unvarnished truth about the condition of our skin, about the firmness and elasticity of different areas of the face and about changed proportions. If we’re honest, we’re never really satisfied. Longingly, we push our cheeks up or pull the skin of our face toward our ears. We then smile at this altered reflection and think how lovely it would be like that. Many of our clients come to us at Perfect Skin Berlin with exactly this wish.
Defining a natural look
Every skin ages differently. There is no one-size-fits-all approach at Perfect Skin. The skin analysis and the development of a suitable treatment plan are carried out individually for every client and with the greatest possible care. We then decide which techniques and methods will bring the best possible results for our clients’ skin. Here we benefit enormously from our many years of experience and our professional expertise. When needed, we consult with each other as a team.
Unfortunately, the aging process affects every layer of our skin, which makes treatment less straightforward. If you want to achieve optimal and long-lasting results, it is essential to include all levels.
The epidermis The epidermis is the outermost layer of the skin. Most people pay it the most attention because it is visible. New skin cells are constantly formed in the epidermis; they move up to the surface and are then shed as skin flakes. In this way, the skin continuously renews itself. This process, from the formation of a cell to its shedding, typically takes six weeks. As we age, however, it slows down. Dead skin cells then remain longer and build up. The top layer of skin becomes keratinized, old cells clog the skin, the oxygen supply is no longer sufficient and applied active ingredients do not penetrate the skin. Enlarged pores often appear as well. In addition, unsightly superficial pigmentation spots or spider veins can become visible.
The dermis
The dermis contains the collagen and elastic fibers that give the skin its structure, flexibility and stability. Overall, the dermis becomes thinner and thinner with age. The structure and function of the connective tissue fibers (collagen and elastic fibers) change the most. Both degenerate progressively; they shorten, harden, stick together and clump. In addition, the collagen fibrils can only store a little water. These changes in the dermis have a major influence on the overall elasticity and firmness of the skin. They become visible as signs of aging.
The subcutis (subcutaneous fat tissue)
The subcutaneous fat tissue, one level further down, increasingly disappears and lets the skin above it collapse. As a result, our contours, such as the jawline, become blurred.
The bony skull also changes its shape. The result: the triangle of youth turns upside down.
The secret of a natural look
With our many years of experience and our state-of-the-art technologies, we find a beautiful, individual solution for almost every client. It is very important to work in all layers of the skin. To create a firm, tight foundation in the dermis, we use the latest HIFU technology or radiofrequency therapy. Targeted heating causes the collagen fibers to contract. For smaller imperfections in the upper layers of the skin, we use microdermabrasion, needling or the Hyperpulse light method.
We can add the finishing touch with targeted hyaluronic acid injectable treatments.
The secret of a natural result lies in our many years of experience, the frequent and regular application of our treatments and the combination of techniques and products.
