I’m getting a hair booster treatment with Ioana to get more hair again, and I’m very happy.
Wrinkle treatment for men
MED
Medically planned, masculine dosed and set in such a way that your facial expressions are preserved.
You appear relaxed, not treated.
More and more men come to us with the same concern: a deep frown line makes them look tense, tired or angry: even if they are not. The decisive factor for a good result is not the treatment itself, but the understanding behind it: which muscles work in which balance with each other, how they form the expression and where targeted relaxation works without taking away the facial expressions.
At Perfect Skin MED, a doctor plans and carries out every treatment based on your individual facial dynamics: masculine dosing, restrained and with a clear goal: an alert, calm look that no one can tell has been helped. Natural, preventively thought and yet visibly fresher.
- Type of treatment
- Medical, muscle-relaxing wrinkle treatment in the upper face — targeted and temporary
- Duration of treatment
- 15–30 minutes incl. analysis at rest and in motion; immediately afterwards suitable for everyday use again
- Recommendation
- onset of action after a few days, fine control after two weeks; booster usually every 4–6 months
- Regeneration
- No real downtime; small redness or wheals at the injection sites are possible for a few hours
“With men, it’s not a matter of ‘a little something in the wrinkle’. The upper face is an interplay between the muscles that lower the brow and the one that lifts it. If you don’t plan it as a whole, you lose either the effect or the natural look. My goal is always both: to relax the tense muscles, preserve the masculine, low-set brow – and let the face keep its movement.”
— Tillmann Lochte · Specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery / aesthetic medicine · Perfect Skin MED
The key zone for men: relaxes the corrugators and procerus, and with them the tense, “angry” expression between the brows.
Smooths horizontal forehead lines in measured doses without letting the brow drop, always planned in relation to the depressor muscles
Fine laugh lines at the outer corner of the eye, treated subtly while preserving expression
Precisely balancing the elevator and depressor muscles so the gaze looks more open while the brow stays low and masculine
For younger men: placed very conservatively so that dynamic wrinkles never become static

Can you tell by looking at me? I don't want to look "made".
This is exactly what men claim: “refreshed, not done”. A visibly “frozen” or astonished face is not caused by the treatment itself, but by ignoring the muscle balance — for example, when the forehead is immobilized without thinking about the lowerers, or the brow is raised to the side. Because we plan the upper face as a system and preserve the deep, masculine brow, your facial expressions remain alive. You look rested, not changed.
Why are men dosed differently than women?
In men, the mimic muscles are stronger and richer in volume, and the skin is thicker. In order to effectively relax the glabella complex, it usually takes more — sometimes spread over more injection points. Treatment that is too restrained is the most common reason why men say, “That didn’t work for me.” The doctor determines the dosage that is right for you individually after the analysis and fine-tunes it after two weeks.
Is it worth it preventively, even though I have hardly any wrinkles?
This can be useful. Dynamic wrinkles (only when moving) dig in as static wrinkles over years due to repeated folding and the natural loss of collagen (also visible at rest). A discreet micro-dosage reduces this repeated folding and can slow down the transition – with largely preserved facial expressions. We assess whether this makes sense for you individually based on your muscle activity.
Does that hurt and can I continue directly afterwards?
Most men find the treatment to be bearable — a short prick with very fine needles, usually without anesthesia. There is no real downtime: On the day of treatment, you should refrain from intensive sports, sauna and massaging the areas and stay upright for a few hours. Meetings, screen work and everyday life are possible immediately afterwards without any problems.
How long does the result last?
The effect is limited in time and, according to experience, is between three and six months — depending on muscle strength, metabolism and lifestyle. After that, muscle function returns completely. Those who regularly refresh often get by with a slightly lower dosage because the muscles get used to the reduced activity.
For whom is the treatment not suitable?
In the case of certain neuromuscular diseases, acute infections in the treatment area, known intolerance to the preparations used, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding, restraint is advised. In a personal medical consultation, we will check individually whether the treatment is the right choice for you — or whether another component of Perfect Skin MED for Men is a better fit.
WHY ANATOMY DETERMINES THE RESULT
The upper face is a system — not a single muscle. An alert or tense expression results from the interplay of several muscles that balance one another. The frown line is caused by the so-called glabellar complex: the paired corrugator muscles (pull the brows inward and downward → the vertical frown lines) and the procerus muscle (pulls the root of the nose downward → the horizontal line above it). The horizontal forehead lines, by contrast, come from the frontalis muscle — the only muscle that raises the brow. At the outer corner of the eye, the orbicularis oculi muscle forms the crow’s feet and also lowers the brow laterally.
What matters is the balance between the depressors (glabellar complex, orbicularis) and the one elevator (frontalis). If only the forehead is generously relaxed without taking the depressors into account, the brow can drop — the eyes look heavy and tired. Conversely, if the frown line is released without considering the forehead, the frontalis can overcompensate and pull the brow up in places — the familiar, unnatural “surprised” or laterally raised look. That is exactly why we never treat an isolated wrinkle, but plan the upper face as a whole: first the analysis at rest and in motion, then a dosage that brings this interplay of forces into natural balance.
Why men are treated differently. Men’s skin is thicker, oilier and better supplied with blood, and the facial muscles are stronger and more voluminous. As a result, men generally need a higher, individually determined dosage — sometimes spread over more injection points and placed deeper. Being treated too conservatively is the most common reason men are disappointed with a wrinkle treatment: the effect then lasts only a few weeks. Just as important is the masculine brow position: the male brow sits lower, directly at or below the bony rim of the eye socket, and runs flatter than the more strongly arched female brow. A lateral “lift” would feminize the face. The medical skill lies in leaving the brow exactly where it looks masculine.
Designed to be natural and preventive. A distinction is made between dynamic wrinkles, which only appear with movement, and static wrinkles, which are visible even at rest. Over the years, the same repeated squinting — combined with the natural loss of collagen and elastin — gradually etches dynamic lines in as static wrinkles. Treating early and conservatively reduces this repeated folding and can slow down that transition. That is why a subtle, preventive micro-dosage makes particular sense for younger men: it largely preserves facial expression, never looks “done” and still works against tomorrow’s deep wrinkle.
- Planned as a system: treatment of the upper face as a muscle balance, not as an individual wrinkle
- Dosed for men: a higher, precisely tailored dosage for stronger male muscles, with the low brow preserved
- Temporary & preventive: the effect is time-limited and controllable — started early, it works against wrinkle formation
Who is the treatment suitable for?
- Men who have a strong professional presence and want an alert, confident expression — without visibly looking “treated”
- Anyone bothered by a deep frown line, forehead lines or crow’s feet
- Younger men (approx. 28–35) who want to start preventively before dynamic wrinkles become etched in as static ones
- Anyone who values being treated by a doctor — with anatomical planning, appropriate dosing for men and an honest assessment
In a personal consultation with the doctor, we will work out together whether wrinkle treatment is the right choice for your goal — or whether a combination within Perfect Skin MED for Men (e.g., with jawline contouring or skin boosters) makes more sense.
