Suddenly, pimples on my face again!

Unsightly red pimples or superficial inflammation on the face can become torture. Acne is no longer just a problem during puberty – it now affects more and more adults.

One in four women between the ages of 25 and 45 struggles with acne. Unfortunately, even in times of equality, I couldn’t find any figures on men affected by acne, but there are probably about as many. Late-onset acne also comes in different forms: mild, moderate and severe. No matter which type you have, it’s unbearable for EVERYONE – even the smallest pimple can become torture. Finding the causes is often a struggle. The fact is, there are sources of inflammation in the body and the skin barrier is disrupted. This is when most people start trying out different skincare products. A common result: the condition gets even worse. In desperation, many turn to antibiotics. Strengthening the immune system with light therapy

The study by Hammersmith Hospital in London, published in the renowned and highly respected medical journal “The Lancet”, states that 87 percent of all treated patients showed significant improvement after just one treatment. What is special and unique about this light therapy is that the skin’s own immune system is very strongly activated and learns to fight future acne on its own. The release of porphyrins is promoted. The oxygen released in the process can attack and destroy the acne bacteria. At the same time, collagen production and wound healing are stimulated. Not every pimple gets lasered

Whether every pimple is lasered right away is something we decide after a thorough assessment of your skin and a medical history consultation. If the skin is overproducing sebum, we recommend microdermabrasion or microneedling. For severe inflammatory acne, the N-Lite laser is used. The advantage of the exclusive treatment with the N-Lite laser is that we can get the inflammation under control quickly, effectively and for the long term. As a rule, 3 treatments four weeks apart are sufficient.
